He is a Junior and fast approaching his Senior year, yikes!
Byron is a very kind soft spoken young man. He is very polite and has good manners. One thing most people don't know about him is he is STRONG. He has some serious guns (muscles) he loves his weight lifting class and it shows.
She loves little kids (babies) and one day will make a wonderful teacher!
She loves to be crafty and busy (like ME!). Carly loves it when she comes to visit because she does crafts with her. She doesn't care for movies or TV. She eats like a bird and is very easy to please. She finally has her own room, can't wait to come see it. She has lots of friends and is a great friend. I love talking to her and listening to her tell a story. Happy Birthday Courtney!!
Sunday, January 19 Uncle Logan ran in the PF Chang Marathon. Of course lots of preparation has gone into preparing for such an event. Running 26 miles is huge. He has been running, working out and eating very healthy for months. WOW! He also had to have the proper clothes/shoes to help him run safely.
Preparation had to be taken on our behalf also:
1-make signs 2- get chairs 3-water 4- snacks to eat while waiting 5- lots of rest 6- cameras of all sorts 7- loud voices to cheer him and all the runners on! We wouldn't miss it for the world!
Dad and Mom making sure everything is ready. Carly and Lindsey waiting at mile marker 14. Me and Carly excited to see Uncle Logan. Wow, look at him he looks great. I would be dying at 14 miles. He came up next to us and gave us high 5's that was cool.
Off to the next stop where we met up with Lance and Heather and their boys.
Case and Sienna enjoying licorice sitting on the curb.
Johnny, Papa and Conner checking out the map of where we will see him next.
We are at the 21 mile marker now.
Lindsey and Oma, camera's ready!
Happy beautiful girls...Sienna, Carly and Ramie!
They loved holding up the signs and cheering for all the runners.
Well you can see the licorice was a good idea...Conner, Case and Crew.
Ramie, Kylee and Carly running around burning some energy.
Lance and Heather
Larissa and Lindsey
Crew, Me and Kylee eating more snacks. Mile 21 GO Uncle Logan, he is still smiling and more high 5's!
GO Uncle Logan 5 more miles!
He did it...oh my gosh! WOW, what an accomplishment. He isn't even breathing hard or looking like he might pass-out! He did an amazing job! He finished in 3 hours and 46 minutes! One of my hero's! He put his mind to it and accomplished something many of us will never do in this lifetime. We are so proud of you! Mom asking, "what was the hardest part?"
Logan, "the 20 -26 mile stretch!"
Look at the salt marks on his shirt. You are Mr. Incredible! We are all proud of you!
Congrats Uncle Logan!
Logan and his running partner Mike, good job guys!
Ready for the next race?
I told Logan I am running Pat Tilman with him, so watch out now it is time for me to train (4.2 miles, he laughed!)
Liz is 2 months older than I am! It has been so fun being so close in age. She has a beautiful family that we love to hang out with. Her oldest is two years older than Lindsey, so she preps me for what is ahead with hormonal girls! Liz gives whatever calling she has 110% I love to learn from her and her love for serving the Lord.
Aunt Liz is known for her fun and gorgeous jewelry.
You are a great sister-in-law!
Love it when we meet up and enjoy date nights together.
“I don’t want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone’s garden. I want to be there with children’s sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really there, and that I really lived.” M. Hinkley
