Sad day in Conner's baseball WORLD!

The Diamondback's had a good season. They may not have won alot of game's, but they made huge improvements. Conner gained confidence on the pitching mound and up to bat. He got a hit everytime he batted. He loved to play in-field and could hardly wait for each game to start.
What will we do without baseball 3-4 nights a week? Conner is already sad! Thanks to all those who came and cheered him on!

Mommies little SODA man...

Cole loves soda. I have been trying so hard to stop drinking DP. Today was one of those days I just gave in. We'll let's just say COLE went to town drinking all he could before I took it away.
This is the happiest I have seen him in days. He has been fighting one of his BAD right ear infections and asthma. Nights have been long and during the days he's laid around being grouchy. So Cole man enjoy!

Uncle Richard meets his waterloo!

Uncle Richard Webb meets his waterloo! Saturday he and Aunt Liesl were hiking and he jumped off a waterfall and hit a rock under the water. He knew he had broken his ankle. A canyoneering team, an EMT from Tonto Basin, and DPS helicopter rescued him. Before they floated him out a LDS scout troop with Priesthood leadership gave him a blessing that he would rest at home that night. Even though they were still in the canyon and it was almost dark. Everyone thought they would be there all night, but the Lord knows everything. He was lifted out with just 3 minutes left before the DPS helicopter had to leave due to darkness. He broke his ankle in two places and had a gash on his shin that went to the bone. Even with all those injuries he was home that early morning (by 1:30am) just as the blessing said he would be.
Sunday night we went to visit the walking dead bringing our healing Rice Krispy treats and were excited to see the video coverage Aunt Liesl got of the heroic efforts of strangers on his behalf. We love Uncle Richard and are so glad he is okay! He is already bummed about missing his Tonto Creek hike next month, bum deal!

Conner has the biggest support team...

Wednesday night the whole clan came to watch the D-backs play. It was our first play off game.
Case man he is always smiling and eating! Little cutie pie!
Uncle Lance coaching from the fence.
Now I am not sure the girls know there is a game going on. They are happy to have each other to play with and of course up for a few trips to the concession stand.
Sienna bug is such a cutie. She wanders around happy as can be.

Oh and yes we won by one run! The last inning Conner made two of the three outs! GO D-BackS!

Dad's Phone Calls

Due to Erik's work schedule he misses most of Conner's games. After and if possible during his games Erik always calls to see how Conner is doing. Conner always wants to be the one to tell him the GOOD stuff. Erik is another one of Conner's BIG FANS. He likes to play catch with him, go to the batting cages, and help him improve his pitching. We wish he could be at more of Conner's games! Love you DAD!

Beautiful Day

Normally on Tuesday's Larissa and I try to exercise. When we woke up today the sky was overcast and gorgeous outside (the high was 76 degrees). I have been feeling guilty because during the day while the older kids are at school I have been working on camp or scout stuff. Cole ends up playing cars on the couch entertaining himself. Although playing cars is COLE'S favorite thing to do. I decided to bag exercising and we went to the PARK. We packed up Cole's bike and our famous sand toys bucket and headed to the park. We had a fun time. I know I need to take advantage of these days because before I know it it will be to HOT and he will be a TEENAGER in a flash (time is flying and my kids are growing up too fast)! I also love being outside!

Happy happy birthday Brynn!

YEAH Brynn you are "5"! Every other Thursday we get to spend the day together while Lisa is cleaning with Oma. She is my big helper. One of our favorite things to do is walk to the park. Well, now that Brynn knows how to ride her bike without training wheels she rides her bike to the park. I will miss you when you go to kindergarten! I hope you have a great birthday! I love you and love those new sun GLASSES!
