Reunion Continued

Day 2: Wednesday, July 1
Activity: BYU Bookstore & Game Center/Rio Cafe/Tanner's All-star Game/Tyler's Game
Thought Conner would like to go see BYU campus, but when Tanner didn't want to go either did Conner. No worries Kayla, Lindsey, Carly, Uncle Logan and I went. We had a good time shopping in the bookstore and playing games in the Game Center.
Dangerous group, WATCH out!
The coolest people ever, bless Uncle Logan's heart he is such a good sport!
Carly playing skeet ball, she hit the highest target!
Kayla practicing her driving...Lindsey practicing her texting!
We could either bowl or go to lunch at Cafe Rio? Of course FOOD sounded better!
Tanner had an All-star Baseball game in Salt Lake City and Ramie wanted to ride in our car. She was telling the boys she NEVER sleeps during the day and especially not in the car (GOTCHA RAMIE GIRL)!Tanner up to bat! Go TANNER man! The whole gang came to cheer him on! We loved being able to watch him play. He is a great player - he made an amazing catch out in left field.

Kylee checking Conner's eyes out! He loves to play with the little ones.
Aunt Rissa took the little ones up the hill (they are the ones carrying the umbrella's - always prepared for the rain!).
Tanner lost, but had a great game! From there we went to Tyler's game it was so fun! It was dark and my pictures didn't turn out, bummer.

Day 1 of reunion playing at the creek

Day 1: Tuesday, June 30
Activity: Playing at the creek.

The Romney's live right next to a creek. It is so cool! The kids loved to play in it. The water is freezing (it is snow water), but they spent hours playing in it. Conner and Tanner were inseparable. It is so green there and tons of trees to lay under and stay cool. Adults relaxing! Conner not sure if he wants to get in. Carly and Courtney lived in this place.
Sienna playing and having a great time!

First RON Larsen Reunion

Our actually reunion start day was Thursday (so everyone arrived by Wednesday night). We arrived Monday night (my kids, Logan and I). Cole and Erik stayed home (we have Cole in a 5 week program at SAARC we didn't want him to miss).
Day 1: Tuesday, June 30
Activity: Salt Lake City Temple Square

(Jase, Whitney, Brynn, Ramie, Tanner, Conner, Kylee, Kayla, Lindsey, Sienna)
Carly and Courtney wanted to stay home. Tyler had to work.
The kiddos were such good sports. It was quite a hot day and we kept asking them to pose for pictures.
Lindsey and Kayla love to be together.
We got a tour of the Conference Center it is so amazing. I love the smell of the wood inside. The art work and paintings gorgeous. The water feature very cool. We even got to sit on the front row of the conference center auditorium - it is huge.
The highlight of our day was we meet a NEW friend on our tour who wanted to be in our FAMILY picture (smack in the front!). Lindsey and I on top of the Conference Center. What a view. It is amazing; plants, grass, trees, water falls all on top of it.
We went into the visitor center... I love the amazing painted walls and huge statue of Christ.
We toured the Beehive House and learned about Brigham Young. He had several wives and a slew of kiddos. I loved learning about him. The kids loved the lemon drop candy they got at the end of the tour.

Everyone was starving when we were done. We picked Uncle Kurt up (he works in the new Family History Bldg. -it has only been open one week and a few days) and grabbed Burger King.

Got home and went down to the creek - pics to come!

$7.00 for 10 summer movies...what a deal!

We are taking advantage of the Summer Movie Fun with Harkins Theatres. This year I only got 4 tickets - Lindsey said she'd pass unless I needed her help. Last week Conner didn't want to go, so Lindsey joined us. Lucky for me - when there is a movie Cole won't sit through I can leave him home with Lindsey. Oma, Lisa and Heather and their kiddos also got tickets for the same day, Tuesdays 9:45am.
The movies are:
Igor, Hotel for Dogs, The Tale of Despereaux, Kit Kitredge, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar 2, Spiderwick, Horton Hears a WHO, Nim's Island, and Space Chimps
A definitely fun activity to keep the kiddos busy and cool this summer.

What Carly wants to be when she grows up!

For as long as I can remember Carly has wanted to be a piano teacher when she grows up, but not anymore. She wants to be an artist or/and an Olive Garden worker. She asked us tonight at dinner where should she go to college to be able to do these jobs? She is dead serious about the Olive Garden worker. We told her she could start working there without a college degree, in fact at age 16 as a high school job (she was shocked)! She loves to draw and be creative an Artist would fit her. Oh, the dreams of a child. It will be fun to listen to the many more jobs she would like to try when she grows up...as time goes by. We have our children brain washed that they can't even consider going to U of A only ASU for Arizona schools (okay NAU is okay).
I love to hear my kiddos dreams or desires.
