Door-bell ditching or teeping?

Do these two cute girls look like innocent angels? Think again!
Yes, it is spring break and kids are looking for something FUN to do. TEENAGERS can't live with them and you CAN'T live without them. I am not ready to make decisions they want me to make. Of course Erik was gone last night at work and so these two innocent girls (don't let them fool you) came to me with, "can we go door-bell ditching?" Yes, glad they asked, but NO WAY was my response." I have a hard time with that one. Most of the people in our neighborhood have little kids which means kids in bed. I don't have a problem letting them go toilet papering! Some people may disagree with me. I look at it as they have to do something "mischievous" you know they are teenagers - so if this is the craziest thing they do I'll take it.
Preparing...they went up and put on black shorts, tennis shoes and these bandanna's!
Girls on a mission...who's house will it be? A cute boy? Great news they DIDN'T get caught!

Bike ride in Scottsdale

These two adorable kiddos are on a 2 week spring break. Their crazy outdoor mom borrowed Gramers & Papa's truck and took them on an adventure. The temperature was 71 degrees and perfect for a bike ride.
We journeyed into Scottsdale to McKellips park. What a fun time. There were great sidewalks leading you under roadways and next to water. Every little while there would be a park and yes we stopped to play.
Swings + sand + climbing + slides = fun
Even a section with water shooting out - took advantage of cooling off a little.
Of course, Conner couldn't resist!
Carly reminded me of the little girl in the movie "My Girl" with her cute hat.
She was very brave and made it up a steep hill, great job Carly!
Cole loves to ride bikes! We stopped and had lunch at a park where he got to stretch his legs and climb a rock wall.
Following the leader the leader the leader were following the leader...
Conner is such a good sport - wearing his helmet so he wouldn't get sunburned (he recently shaved his head to support a classmate going through cancer) and to be safe.
Food - yeah! I love relaxing days like this! NO worries and fun times with my kiddos!

Fifteen years old....SHERIDAN

Sheridan is now "15" I can't believe it. Wow, one more year and she will be driving! Sheridan is a cheerleader at her school. She is awesome!
Sheridan knows how to make the weirdest faces. We love to see her and hope she has a Happy Birthday!

What a fun yet busy Saturday!

Saturday began early, Conner had an 8am play-off Wham basketball game. We had to leave the house at 7am, oh boy. Lindsey had church volleyball and breakfast 8am. All good activities with great outcomes, love that my kiddos have these opportunities. Conner won his game therefore he would get to play at 3pm for the championship.

After Conner's first game we went and watched Lindsey play volleyball. She loves to play and has a great attitude about cheering her friends on. In fact, I was proud of her because one ward didn't have enough players (she didn't know anyone in that ward) and volunteered to play on their team. What a good girl she is.

Warming up! Love the shoes. I asked her where her volleyball shoes were and she answered, "at home!" Such a teenager. They didn't match I guess. Nice VANS!

YEAH "Sharks" they won 35 to 14. Conner had 12 points, great job buddy! What a fun game and great season!

Conner, Donovan, and Dallin like their cool medals they got?!

Pointing at the CHAMPIONSHIP spot!

Conner #5 good job SHARKS. Conner had been struggling with fouling, but did a great job controlling himself in the championship game! Thanks to all our family who supported Conner this season - we love you!

Peter Piper, Conner's team party. Carly enjoying pizza so she can go play video games! Cole had a fun time playing on the play center (slide)!

Lindsey was glad Summer and Dakota were there to hang with. Conner and one of his teammates!

Michelle and Jasmine Hanna they are Donovan's family. We love them and are glad they live in our neighborhood.

It was a fun day spent hanging with our kiddos!

London's Run

Our family had the opportunity to help out with London's Run this year. We loved it. A little over 3 years ago our dear friends Warren and Heather Solomon lost their little girl, London, to cancer. This run was organized to help pay for their medical bills. The Solomon's have continued to hold the run each year to sponsor kiddos in the Queen Creek community fighting cancer to help with their needs. It is an amazing event. It is held at Schnepf Farms and the people that come out are so neat. It is a huge community event where they even have started a London's Ride (a horse ride). A place where people are happy all working together for a good cause. I joined the committee and was asked to handle the awards/plagues.

My family rallied around me and came to help out too. Thanks Erik, Lindsey, Carly, Conner, Larissa, Oma, Papa and Logan.

Conner ran the fun run - 2 miles. Great job buddy!

Summer Edwards and Lindsey great friends!

Carly, Erik and Conner your help was great!

Aunt Heather and her friend Erin came and ran the 10K, way to go! Lance and Joe brought the kiddos to cheer them on!

Thanks everyone for supporting me and all your wonderful help!

Conner's lAsT Pinewood derby!

Saturday, January 24 Conner participated in his lAsT pinewood derby! I can't believe he is in Webelos and has already been in 3 derby's, wow! He didn't place in the top 3, but he did a great job and cheered his buddies on!

The 3 musketeers, Dallin Edwards, Conner, and Donovan Hanna.
