Cole loves play time...

Cole's teacher sent this to me with this caption, "Cole loves to play trains and dinosaurs!" I thought that was so sweet of her. He loves to go to school.Walked in the playroom one day to this...he drags the two GIANT Dino's everywhere. Erik walked into Lindsey's volleyball game carrying these and I had to chuckle! Cole sleeps with them and finally will inter-mix them with cars, blocks (bldg. cages, castles, Mt's.) and other Dino's. I have people stop me and ask where I BOUGHT them.
Our Coleman I sure do love him. I miss him with his crazy busy schedule.

Little Colt is home and doing GREAT!

Wanted to update all of you:
Colt is home and doing great!
He is so cute! Amazingly he has his own look (okay Case's nose), but other than that. Dark hair and more color to his skin than the other boys. I don't know maybe we should check with the UPS man and see what he looks like? The boys love him, Case is very involved with him and Crew is so proud to have another brother! He is too cute and smells so GOOD! My kiddos can't wait to go back and visit so they can take a turn holding him.

Welcome to the world new Larsen baby!

Lance and Heather had a beautiful little boy today!
Colt ______Larsen weighing in at 7 lbs. 14 ozs.
20 1/2 inches long
Little Colt had a scary delivery, but seems to be doing better now. He was turned sunny side up and the doctor and to turn him. The Dr. had a hard time getting him out (he had to be vacuumed out) and no noise was being heard only a lifeless blue body. He came out blue and motionless. Immediately the nurses started working on him and took him to the NIC-U. There they put an oxygen tube in him and started him on an IV (Heather has GBS - Group Beta Strep). He is doing better now, the oxygen tube has been taken out, but he is having massive amts. of test done and still remains in the NIC-U. Prayers on their behalf would be appreciated. We love them and hope little Colt's test come back fine and he can go home sometime this week.

Marley had to have a bath after Mt. Graham

Marley was sooooo dirty after playing in the mt. dirt. We had to give him his FIRST bath. He actually did great. (He likes water, several times he has jumped into swimming pools).

Look at the water, gross! We had to cut out sap and other things that had gotten stuck to him before he could even take a bath. He had things totally stuck in his paws.
Not very cute wet! Oh he smelt so good and looked so WHITE! Luck for us he loves loud noises and didn't mind us blow drying his hair.
Erik giving him loves letting him know everything is okay! Sad I didn't get an after bath photo!
I wish he could smell and be that clean more often!

Playing on Mt. Graham

Mt. Graham was so much fun. The kids ran around and enjoyed all that nature has to offer. Animals we got to see or that found us, squirrels, deer, bugs, lizards (Cole called them iguanas) and a bear.
Lana and her family got to stay until Sunday early afternoon. They brought with them bows & arrows and a BB-Gun. The kiddos and some adults (Jodi) took turns aiming and doing quite well with the targets.

Carly our future Annie Oakley.
Olivia and Lindsey
Jodi, she is so patient, helping Cole shoot a gun.
GO Lana, she recently killed an elk with a bow/arrow, wow!
Cole thinking I am crazy for making him take a bath in the SINK! Now all my kiddos have taken baths in the cabin sink. Fun dirty-clean memories!
Charlie (he is such a good guy) he let (encouraged) Marley to run and get super dirty!
One of the amazing forts the kiddos made (I love the mts. no tv's, radios, video games) the kids get away from those things and have to be creative.
Cole doesn't always like to wear shoes, but after getting pine sap all-over his feet he kept his shoes on more.
More cool photos of the kids in their fort.
Hiking up Ladybug trail. Jodi took Cole and Carly up the mt. to get to the top to sign their names in the book (kept at the very top) along with the cool chest where kids bring a toy to leave and then get to take one someone else left. JJ and Justin already up there waiting for them.
Carly loves Marley and Marley loves hanging with us in the mts.
Great job...Carly after returning from the very top.
Aunt Joyce...oh so tired after her l-o-n-g hike up the mt. (NOT)! She and I stayed down and had some time to talk. I love Aunt Joyce she has always taking time out for me! Thanks!
There they are the hiking fools, great job!
(Jodi, Justin, Carly, JJ, and on the bottom Cole)
Sunday night we started to have plumbing problems, no more flushing toilets allowed. Time to pop a squat! Our city girls survived (it was either that or go home, we didn't want to leave). Lindsey poising with the two necessities.
CARDS, one of my favorite things about the mts. Lots of time to play cards. Jodi and Aunt Joyce taught us some really fun games.
I think we even got Olivia addicted to cards. We just moved our table around to stay in the cool shade. Notice the truck doors open? Jodi had us jammin to Momma Mia songs (ABBA). Everyone around us had gone home so we could turn our music up and not bother anyone.
Another great year! We love the mts. and are so grateful to Aunt Joyce for taking time to go with us. The kids are already talking about next year (even Olivia). Conner said he was for sure going - I hope so we missed him!
