Sunday night GAMES!

We have early church (8am), so on Sunday's we have lots of family time. Somethings we like to do are play games, watch home videos, have FHE, watch a movie and write in our journals. Tonight we played UNO (Carly won 2 times Erik 1), Operation (Conner won), attempted Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader, but it was too hard for me and Carly. Lastly we played Sorry (Conner came in 1st, Carly 2nd, Mom 3rd and Dad closed out the game). We love Sunday's because Dad gets to be home and awake with us all day!

Colour du Jour...Aunt Marilyn's request!

GREEN is my favorite color!I have lots of green things. A few are...a clock that sits on our piano, my cell phone, my diaper bag I bought from Target (of course, my favorite store)
my scriptures (my in-laws gave me for Christmas), a candle, a decorative duck that sits in a window box shelf...
one wall in our living room (we tried about 5 different shades of green)
We bought Lindsey a GREEN ipod!

I really like GREEN!

Jacob's BIRTHDAY!

Jacob is on the right. He is my ONLY nephew that won't let me take his picture. He hides, he dashes, he is so quick to disappear when my camera appears. I tell him all the time "you are going to be so sad, because I am not going to have any pictures of you!" I love Jacob and WILL get a really good picture of him soon! "Happy Birthday" (I am a few days late, May 28)!

Missing children...

Lindsey is off to Texas for 10 days. Oma was going to help out with the Romney kids while LaSchelle and Kurt go on a cruise with his family, so Lindsey asked to go. She saved her money babysat all she could and bought her own ticket. She really wanted to go! Have fun Lindsey...I will miss her she is a great help with Cole!
Conner is off on an overnight Father's and son's with Papa Larsen and Uncle Lance. He loves to camp and will get to pass off his overnight camping achievement in his Bears scout book, yeah! How can I get rid of two more kiddos for the night? Just kidding!

The heat is here!

Summer is here! Conner was off at Golfland Sunsplash, Lindsey has year round school so, she was still in school and Carly needed something to do. I bought this pool at Costco and thought it was a perfect day, no big kids. The little kids would enjoy it for hours. Called and Aunt Larissa and girls were up to hanging out.
Cole enjoying a popscyle. This was really his first time to swim alone in the pool He loved it. He could splash all he wanted and not get told to stop. He carried two cars around almost the whole (one in each hand).
Ramie and Carly stopping long enough to have a popsycle or two.
Sienna wanted to be like the big girls, love the goggles! She played so good with the kitchen stuff, filling cups with water and putting them in the play house. Oh, did I mention she poured water on mine and Larissa's legs it felt great!
Three little swimmers having so much fun! We went in, ate hotdogs and chips, and decided it was nap time!

Memorial Day tradition...

Every Memorial Day the Morris side has a tradition to visit the cemeteries. First we go to the Mesa Cemetery where Grandpa Robert Morris Sr., Grandma Marie Morris, and Stephanie Morris (Erik's little sister who was a stillborn) were buried. Then we go to the Memorial Cemetery in Apache Junction where Grandpa Harvey Williams was buried. We go and clean off their headstones and talk about what great people they were. Lindsey curled her hair today, she looked so pretty. Cole loves Lindsey!
Our kids with Gramers and Papa.
Lindsey and Jordan Lavold cleaning the headstone.
Carly and Gramers taking their turn. Counsins, cousins, cousins...
Michael Webb and Jake Lavold being silly.

Gramers and Papa with all their grandkids, but ONE. Jacob Braley was home sick. I missed taking his picture today (he hates having it taken)!
Now we have to do a SILLY picture. Everyone is participating, amazing!!
Our kiddos again with Gramers and Papa Morris. It was such a beautiful day (maybe 80 degrees?).
All NINE of their granddaughters!
Eight out of NINE grandsons!

Susan and John with all 4 of their children along with Nana Williams too.Memorial day wouldn't be the same without lunch and swimming at the Lavold's. The pool was a little cold for the adults, but the kids enjoyed it. Carly had a great time.
Conner couldn't decide whether to swim or play on the WI?! He loved doing both. Thanks for a fun day!
