Every Memorial Day the Morris side has a tradition to visit the cemeteries. First we go to the Mesa Cemetery where Grandpa Robert Morris Sr., Grandma Marie Morris, and Stephanie Morris (Erik's little sister who was a stillborn) were buried. Then we go to the Memorial Cemetery in Apache Junction where Grandpa Harvey Williams was buried. We go and clean off their headstones and talk about what great people they were.
Lindsey curled her hair today, she looked so pretty. Cole loves Lindsey!

Gramers and Papa with all their grandkids, but ONE. Jacob Braley was home sick. I missed taking his picture today (he hates having it taken)!
Now we have to do a SILLY picture. Everyone is participating, amazing!!

Memorial day wouldn't be the same without lunch and swimming at the Lavold's. The pool was a little cold for the adults, but the kids enjoyed it. Carly had a great time.
Conner couldn't decide whether to swim or play on the WI?! He loved doing both. Thanks for a fun day!

Fun tradition! We usually swim too, but the water was a little cold for my liking....sure enjoyed the perfect weather though. Glad you had such a nice day!
Sounds like a fun memorial day! I just love family traditions :) Sounds like you had great weather too. We had rain off and on all day.
I have to say this: I LOVE YOUR BLOG! It is so fun and newsy and love seeing the photos. The kids are getting so big-I can't believe it. Did Brynn get to come home Monday? I'm sending her a little package today.

it is soo fun to catch up with all you have been doing.. your kids are growing so much. i love carly's haircut and how fun to have sweet lindsay as a babysitter!! you are such a fun mom, sister, friend... :) by the way, i met britany minor and she said how great you were!!
What a fun thing to do on memorial day. Eriks family sure does have some fun traditions--that is so special for your kids.
