Watch out people in Texas - new driver on the ROAD!
Today Tyler turned "16" wow! Where has the time gone? I love you Tyler! I love it when I catch Tyler on the phone (it doesn't happen often), but he always tells me he loves me! That is so COOL! I miss him so much! I can't wait to see you play basketball again (he is an awesome basketball player)! Basketball is my favorite sport you know. Have a "Happy Birthday!" Be prepared to give me a full run down on the details of your FIRST DATE! Your lucky I live to far away to leave CHEERIOS on your doorstep! Drive safely...
Conner's BiGGEST fans!
We are having so much fun watching Conner play baseball this year. He is such a great player!
Uncle Logan, Papa Larsen and Oma are his biggest supporters. Uncle Logan and Papa have been his "PITCHING COACHES". The time and effort they have given him is awesome! They are so patient and positive with him.
Cole doesn't sit still the whole two hours. I don't know who is more tired him or me!
Oma loves to watch her grandkids play!
I love it all! I am so proud of Conner and how far he has come! Each game he gets a little better! His pitching has improved so much. He always gets a hit (tonight he got three great hits)! I don't know what he likes more batting or stealing the bases??! His self confidence has increased-it is so fun to watch him grow! I love being a mom!

Mother's Day
This is my favorite picture of my mom. It was her high school senior picture. There are so many things I love about my mom. She has always been there for me. She has always encouraged me at whatever I wanted to do. She would always try to make all my sporting events. She always had my clothes clean and food made for me. She taxied me around town. She taught me to serve. She always encouraged me to do my best! She believed in me and trusted me to make good choices. Today she shares recipes, volunteers to help out with my kids, goes shopping and to lunch with me, supports my childrens activities, and loves my kids. Most importantly she listens! I am grateful she raised me in the gospel and taught me to love the Lord. I love you MOM! Mom got her hair cut yesterday and I love it. Cole loves OMA! Today we went over to Oma and Papa's for hamburgers and Oma's famous POTATO SALAD!
Dad BBQ hotdogs and hamburgers!
The kids love to go and play with their cousins. Now that their a little older we have started playing "red rover red rover, green light red light, duck duck goose, hide-and-seek, ring around the rosies, London bridges, and of course baseball." What fun we have together!
Lindsey loves to hold and help out with the younger cousins. Case loved on her today!

Kindergarten-Donuts with Mom
Friday, 5-9 Carly invited me to have donuts in her classroom for an early Mother's Day celebration! She was so excited - after a little coaxing she was okay with Cole joining us. I loved it! She made me the cutest card! It was fun to see her classroom and all her fun artwork on the walls. I love you Carly!
Ms. Abbott is Carly's kindergarten teacher. She has been a great teacher!

Conner's close call...
Thursday, 5-8 Conner had baseball practice. Erik was going to drop he and his friend Tallon off at practice and Tallon's mom was going to bring them home. They went to leave Conner told me he loved me and he'd see me later. Around 6:45 I began making Conner a cheesecrisp for dinner thinking he would be home any minute. Around 7pm the phone rang and it was Tallon's grandma. She started with "everyone's okay we have been in a car accident" she told me where they were. I left Lindsey in charge and headed off to Ellsworth and Ocotillo in front of the Circle K. I got there, gave Conner a big hug and felt so blessed that no one had been hurt! Wow, you never know what's in store for your life. I am glad Conner is fine and that he knows I LOVE HIM!
From "FOUR" eyes to "TWO"
This is Lindsey at age 10 right after she got her braces and a year into wearing her glasses.
Lindsey turned 12 yes 12 years old in December and we promised her she could get contacts. She now has contacts and loves them. She's gone from "four" eyes to "two" and loves it. She sure has grown up into a cute pre-teen. She is my lifesaver (with Erik working nights)and a huge help with Cole! I love having a built in babysitter and a partner to go shopping with!

Sunday, May 4 Visit with Grandpa Larsen
Have been trying to get over and visit Grandpa Jess Larsen for awhile now. Amazingly Sunday night we had nothing going on. Lindsey and Carly found out where I was going and wanted to go. I was so happy to have their company in the car to and from. Grandpa lives with Aunt Linda and Uncle Rex Crandall now. We got there and had a great visit with Grandpa, Aunt Linda and Uncle Rex. It was fun to catch up and spend sometime with Grandpa. I miss our Monday morning cleaning dates. We loved to talk about family and Grandma Larsen. I think our favorite thing to do was read Grandma's journal. When we would read you could literally hear her voice. She was an amazing woman.
I love Grandpa's natural gray hair. He is turning 90 in August. He looks great for his age.
